The Torrance, CA crooner was close to completing work toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Dominguez Hills when he received an opportunity he could not pass up. Farol became a contestant on Kelly Clarkson’s reality singing competition show, “Duets” in 2012 where Clarkson was his duet partner and mentor. He placed third on the show but that did not stop him from pursuing his dreams.
Since “Duets,” Farol worked on his first studio album, a self-titled project, which was released in October under Viva Records. The album includes five regular tracks as well as adding a nice touch with backing tracks to those songs.
The first single off the album – “I Believe in Love Again” – is a beautifully-written love song that has gotten quite a bit of publicity as of late.
