Well, it’s officially Christmas week! Hard to believe how fast this year has gone – and it doesn’t really feel like Christmas here in North Carolina with the temps outside being above normal. At any rate, here’s a list I compiled of my favorite Christmas songs. Enjoy!

5. “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas” – Michael Bublé

Let’s start off with a classic. Of course, I love the Bing Crosby version as well, but it’s something about the way Bublé delivers this tune. That, along with the stunning orchestral intro, has this one on my favorites list.

4. “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” – Andy Williams

How could I leave this tune off my list? I personally think this could be the anthem for the holiday season. I’ve always loved Andy Williams’ amazing vocals and, once again, the orchestral parts are beautiful.

3. “Little Drummer Boy” – Daves Highway

This song will always have a special place in my heart. Back when I was a youngin’ I was apart of a children’s group at my grandma’s church. The director was so creative, she turned empty coffee cans into drums for us to play as we sung the song. Fast forward to 2014 when I discovered a beautiful version of the song that released by Daves Highway, a group I featured on here a while back. The talented trio delivers this tune with amazing harmonies as only Daves Highway can accomplish.

2. “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” – ‘N SYNC

Admittedly, I was a huge ‘N SYNC fan back in the day. Who wasn’t? “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” is just one of those songs that make the Christmas season a little bit brighter. It’s also featured on one of my favorite Christmas movies I’ll Be Home for Christmas so it’s a home run for me!

1. “The First Noel” – Josh Groban (feat. Faith Hill)

I’m going to take it down a notch and close out this list of favorite Christmas tunes with a song that catches the true essence of the season. I’ve heard many versions of “The First Noel” but none quite like what Josh Groban and Faith Hill produced.
