This week, I’m featuring an American Idol alum who experienced much success on the show. Sonika Vaid is an incredible talent. The Massachusetts native was a top five finalist on Season 15 of Idol. She was one of my favorites on the show, heck, on the entire series. Since her stint on Idol, Vaid has been hard at work establishing herself in the industry. She’s posted several videos to her YouTube channel showcasing her musical abilities, including one of her performance of the National Anthem at Fenway Park and a collab with fellow artist, Will Jay.

Vaid just released a music video featuring her take on the classic “The Christmas Song” and it’s fantastic! It’s a traditional take with some more modern music accompanying it. It’s simple and elegant. Have a listen below!
