My Friday Five: On Changes, NCAA Baseball & A ‘Sister Sister’ Reboot(?)

1. Changes

Hopefully you had a chance to check out my latest post. I like to write posts regarding my life experiences so far, and I do just that, here. The post is called “Changes” and is, more or less, a reflection on the past year of my life – which has been crazy to say the least. I encourage you to read it and then come back here and continue reading the “Friday Five” – I won’t judge. 🙂

2. UNC Baseball

The Diamond Heels are beginning their journey to Omaha and the College World Series today. Carolina is the No. 2 National Seed in the NCAA Baseball Tournament for a seventh time and will play at home as long as the team remains in the tournament. The Heels open up play against Davidson at 6 p.m. today in Chapel Hill. Go Heels!

3. N.C. State Baseball

The Wolfpack begins its quest for Omaha on Friday as well. N.C. State received a berth in the Lexington (K.Y.) Regional as the No. 3 seed and will face No. 2 seed Indiana tonight at 7 p.m. Go Pack!

4. Sister, Sister Reboot Coming?

Holy childhood! Could the 90s sitcom – Sister, Sister – be making a return? In an interview with Nylon, Tia Mowry confirms that she would love for a reboot to happen. However, Mowry said that she is finding it a bit difficult to find showrunners for the reboot. I guess only time will tell!

5. One Woman’s Amazon Fail

Have you ever had this happen? A lady from Virginia – referred to as Blaque – took to Amazon to purchase items for her wig-making hobby turned into a budding business. According to Yahoo! Style, she was adding things to her cart left and right, when she saw a neat ghost chair designated as an “Add-On Item” for $5. She had enough in her cart to add the item to her order, but was pretty surprised to see what she received. Instead of the chair she thought she would receive, she got a tiny chair (check it out here)! Blaque took it all in stride, noting in her tweet about the chair to always make sure you read the item descriptions on Amazon. I’m sure many of us can relate!
