I’ve been a fan of Tristan Bushman’s music since first seeing him on American Idol. The 20-year-old singer/songwriter hails from Ashton, Ill. and is already receiving quite a bit of exposure in his young career; having participated in auditions for NBC’s The Voice and the aforementioned Idol, advancing to Hollywood Week on the show. He’s also shared the stage with the likes of Thompson Square, Kellie Pickler, Paul Thorn and others.
There’s something with Tristan’s music that captivates this listener. A combination of stellar songwriting and killer vocals that span a variety of genres just makes everything click. Look no further than his latest release, a self-titled EP. The four-track project has a beautiful simplicity to it. Each song telling a unique, authentic story; from the piano-driven “When I’m Loving You” or the Lifehouse-esque “Liquor and Cigarettes.” Plus, for less than the cost of a Grande Caramel Frappuccino at Starbucks (I don’t drink Starbucks, I looked it up online), you can own this work of art. Trust me, this music is better for you than that frappuccino anyway. In all seriousness, though, go check out Tristan’s music. You won’t regret it.
Not convinced by my words? Have a listen for yourself.
Convinced now? Then grab Tristan’s EP and be sure to follow him on his socials…
