Happy 2019, friends! I hope the new year is off to a good start for you. How about a new tune to cure the Monday blues?!?

In case you didn’t know, I’m a Hamilton super fan. Moreover, I’m a fan of Lin-Manuel Miranda. Since the release of his otherworldly musical, Miranda also released a series of pieces of art, aptly titled Hamildrops. These include fresh takes on songs from the musical, videos, and more.

For the first “NMM” of 2019, I decided to focus on the final Hamildrop. It happens to be a remix of one of my favorite tunes from Hamilton: “One Last Time.” In the remix, we hear Christopher Jackson reprise his role of George Washington. He’s accompanied by a spectacular ensemble that includes Bebe Winans – and a very special guest. You’ll have to listen to find out who it is. I honestly didn’t think that “One Last Time” could get any better than the original. I think it just did with this remix.
