It all started with American Idol. Then a follow on Twitter and Instagram. And then listening to his music. From then on, I’ve become a big fan of Elijah Lu – better known as just Lijah.

Hailing from California, Lijah competed on Seasons 11 and 12 of Idol, making it pretty far in the competition. He developed a fan base – aptly named the “Lucrew” – and has been hard at work producing fresh tracks ever since.

As an Idol fanatic, I quickly became a fan and still support Lijah seven years later. There’s a velvety smooth vocal paired with strong pop/R&B beats in each of his songs. From his seven-track album, Grown, to his latest release called “Gone.” This guy is most definitely flying under the radar and is going to do big things in the months and years to come.
