We have reached Christmas week! I can’t think of a better way to close out the 2020 version of my Christmas Tunes series than with some music from friends!
First up is Jackson Dreyer. It’s wild how I didn’t even know this guy several months ago. Music brought me to follow him on his socials and now I can proudly say he’s one of my good friends! Check out his original “Snow” below – SPOILER ALERT: it’s really good!
Next is Willow City. Like Dreyer, I barely new this talented bunch several months ago. I became a fan after watching them on America’s Most Musical Family and the rest, as they say, is history. The sibling band just released a take on “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and, like its other works, this is incredible.
Up next is Evan Cole, who just released an EP entitled Classic Christmas, just in time for the holidays. The six-track project includes Cole’s versions of some timeless Christmas tunes, including one of my all time favorites: “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” as well as “White Christmas.” Check it out!
Last but not least is Dylan Rockoff. This talented dude released an original called “Around You (O Christmas Tree)” several weeks ago. I absolutely love how he takes the classic “O Christmas Tree” and put a unique spin on it, making it his own. This one is definitely worth a listen!
Merry Christmas, friends!
