We’re back this week with a feature on the incredibly talented Wyatt Pike.

The singer-songwriter hails from Utah and creates his own unique sound while being a heckuva storyteller with his tunes. According to his bio, Pike cites Anders Osborne, Andy Shauf, and Phoebe Bridgers among his inspirations. He also began performing about seven years ago, eventually garnering the attention of many folks, including American Idol. You guessed it, that’s where I discovered him and became a fan.

It’s just something about the unique flair Pike gives his music. His sheer musicianship. Now, the 21-year-old has released a brand new tune entitled “Deep Blue” and its incredible. In fact, the chorus has been stuck in my head for a few days now. It’s that good! The song is just the start of an EP, due out later this year.
