Born and raised in the heart of North Carolina, Chris White graduated from N.C. State University in 2014 with a B.S. in Sport Management and a Journalism Certification. He recently completed his third season with the Back-to-Back Governors’ Cup Champions Durham Bulls Baseball Club; where he earned 2018 Employee of the Year for his department.
Music is a passion and Chris has played clarinet for 16 years, much of that time being spent as first chair clarinetist for a local orchestra. Chris also likes to do a little photography in his spare time as a “professional dabbler” in the art, if you will. Not quite a full blown professional but not a novice either. With that, his works have been exhibited at the N.C. State Fair since 2009, for millions of visitors to see.
Writing is also a passion and Chris has been rewarded for it as he was the only high school student in his local area to be recognized for it in 2010. With that, Chris received a trip to New York City and Washington, D.C., where he met several dignitaries and experienced the many amazing things each city had to offer.
