Durham Bulls Employee Awards
The Durham Bulls organization awarded me Hospitality Employee of the Year at the conclusion of the 2018 season. Additionally, I was awarded Guest Services Employee of the Homestand and Guest Services co-Employee of the Year in 2019.
Photography Featured in N.C. State Alumni Association Calendar
A photograph, entitled “Light at the End of the Tunnel,” was chosen to be featured in the 2019 N.C. State Alumni Association Calendar that is sent out to members of the association. This was the first time my photography has been recognized in this fashion.
N.C. State Fair Photography Exhibition
My photography was exhibited during the N.C. State Fair at the Kerr Scott Building. The photos competed alongside professional and amateur artists and are viewed by millions of visitors throughout the 11-day run of the fair each year.
Blog Post for Vybe Sunglasses
I wrote a piece on local startup business, Vybe Sunglasses, which was one of several articles recognized by the company alongside established media outlets such as Triangle Business Journal and Technician.
N.C. State Diversity Symposium
I was one of only three students selected from my class to present a diversity research project at the annual Parks, Recreation and Tourism Diversity Symposium on campus. The project was presented to several department faculty members and special guests.
Photography on hitRECord
A photograph was used in a video from hitRECord, which is an open collaborative production company founded by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The idea behind hitRECord is for artists to contribute their works to various collaborations. Those works, in turn, are used to create short films, songs, music videos, and more.
