1. Wolfpack Swimming/Diving in the NCAAs
N.C. State Swimming and Diving is taking the NCAAs by storm. The women’s team had its competition last week, finishing very strong in several events. The men’s team is competing this week and finds itself in third place overall. One of the major highlights so far is State defending its NCAA Title in the 800 Freestyle Relay event.
1. UCLA's Epic Comeback
College football returned in a big way this past weekend. Particularly with the UCLA versus Texas A&M game. The Aggies held a commanding, 34-point lead in the third quarter. However, the Bruins found a way to come back for the victory. Yep, you read that right. It was the largest comeback in UCLA history, according the Los Angeles Times and was just one point shy of Michigan State's 35-point comeback versus Northwestern in 2006 for the largest all-time. Absolutely amazing!
1. Idol Reboot News
Katy Perry is officially IN as a judge on ABC's American Idol reboot. There was quite a bit of speculation in recent days before the network made it official at its annual Upfront presentation. Perry is no stranger to the show, having been a guest judge during Season Nine. I personally like the pick as I know Perry is extremely talented and I'm sure she has the ability to discover new talent. We'll see how it goes!
